Lokal Rents is an online platform that allows individuals and businesses ("Users") to rent a wide variety of products, including but not limited to apparel, household items, electronics, tools, outdoor gear, automobile and event supplies ("Products"). By renting any Product through Lokal Rents, you agree to comply with these Terms.

2. Eligibility

To use our services, you must be at least 18 years old or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction. By accessing or using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Account Creation

To rent products, you must create an account on Lokal Rents. When creating an account, you agree to:

Provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself

Keep your account credentials confidential

Notify Lokal Rents immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account

Lokal Rents reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account if we suspect any fraudulent or unauthorized activity.

4. Product Rental

By placing an order for a Product on Lokal Rents, you are making an offer to rent the Product subject to availability and these Terms. The contract is not finalized until you receive a confirmation of your order.

Availability: 

     All Product listings are subject to availability. In the event that a Product is unavailable after you place an order, you will be notified and may choose to cancel or modify your order.

Rental Period: 

     You may rent Products for a specified period ("Rental Period") based on the options available for each Product. The Rental Period will begin when the Product is delivered to you or when you pick it up, as applicable.

Delivery & Pickup:

     Lokal Rents will arrange for delivery or pickup of the Product(s) in accordance with your rental terms. Delivery charges, if applicable, will be added to your rental price.

5. Rental Fees and Payment

Fees: 

 - Rental fees are clearly listed on the Site for each Product. Fees may vary based on the rental period, location, and type of Product.

Payment: 

 - Payment for rentals is due in full at the time of booking. Payments will be processed via the payment method you provide at checkout. You are responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, and charges associated with your rental.

Late Fees: 

 - If you fail to return a Product by the end of the agreed-upon Rental Period, you may be charged late fees as outlined on the Site. Continued late returns may result in the suspension of your account and additional charges.

6. Product Use and Care

    You agree to use the rented Products only for their intended purpose and in accordance with any instructions provided.

You are responsible for the care and maintenance of the rented Product(s) during the Rental Period. Products should be returned in the same condition as when received, subject to reasonable wear and tear.

Prohibited Uses: You may not use the Products for illegal, harmful, or commercial purposes without express written permission from Lokal Rents.

7. Damage, Loss, or Theft

    You are responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of the rented Product(s) during the Rental Period. If a Product is returned damaged, lost, or stolen, you will be charged the full replacement cost, along with any associated fees.

In the event of damage, loss, or theft, you must notify Lokal Rents immediately and cooperate with our team in assessing the situation.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

    Cancellations by You: You may cancel your rental order before the Product is delivered or picked up. If you cancel within a reasonable time frame (usually 24 hours before delivery), you may be entitled to a full refund, minus any cancellation fees.

Cancellations by Lokal Rents: 

 - If Lokal Rents is unable to fulfill your order due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., product unavailability), we will notify you and provide a full refund.

Refunds: 

 - Refunds are processed in accordance with the cancellation policy. Late return fees, damage fees, or other charges are non-refundable.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

      We respect your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.

10. Intellectual Property

      All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Lokal Rents or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.       Lokal Rents is not responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the Products rented through our platform. This includes any damages related to accidents, property damage, or personal injury.
